Here it goes....
I bought few generic domains from godaddy.com.
Auctions.Asia
Colleges.Asia
Investor.Asia
These domains were picked to give one stop solutions to all the websites listed in Asia under these generic names.
For example : Investor.Asia would give insight on all the stock exchanges in Asia region, with links to major finance and investment websites.
My take was getting sponsored links from these Finance and Investment websites and get paid for sending traffic to their websites.
This was my idea on rest of the domains too.
but alas my entrepreneurship dreams came crashing when i got to know DotAsia org is auctioning my domains to the highest bidder, and pocketing all the money.
My credit card was charged for buying these domains and i have already paid my bank.
If they had to Auction the damm domains then why the hell they wanted to sell them at first.
They could have started a auction all together.
This Looks like a total Scam to loot people, Well say insider trading.
I found this interesting link thats speaks about the wrong doings of this org.

The Domain Scam of the Century
We have heard of Various Scams and now comes the master of all.
The DotAsia Domain registration scam, where Mr X buys a domain xyz.asia and later some Mr A, Mr B and Mr C try looking up for xyz.asia which is already sold by a domain registrant like say Godaddy in my case.
Just because people showed interest in the domain xyz.com, then DotAsia registry goes ahead and Auctions it thru their partner pool.asia.
Then the Domain is sold to the highest bidder and pool with DotAsia org pockets all the money and Mr X looses his domain which he originally bought and his credit card was charged for it.
